As our nation faces a pivotal moment in the fight for racial justice, Rev. Dr. Torrance Jones offers five leadership strategies for optimal public engagement in the 21st century. Dr. Jones brings a breadth of intellectual capital from the fields of theology, government services, and higher education with a commitment to communal excellence in a diverse global society. His personal journey, research-based findings and motivation musings will encourage us to challenge our thinking and intentionally impact change. Dr. Jones currently serves as the Sheriff's Community Affairs Executive at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. In this role, Dr. Jones functions as the Sheriff’s first-ever coordinator for diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Business & Criminal Justice at Houghton University, Adjunct Professor of Executive Leadership at St. John Fisher University, Adjunct Professor for Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan University, and an ordained minister.
